Food Process Specialist

Job Description

We are currently seeking a Food Process Specialist to join our Telford facility. This role will be pivotal in overseeing food quality and safety procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and optimising production processes. The successful candidate will have a strong background in food science and safety.

Responsibilities

• Ensure that all food safety measures are in place and adhered to during production.
• Review and update food quality control protocols as necessary.
• Prepare reports on food safety compliance and production efficiency.
• Support the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead root cause analysis for non-compliance issues and implement corrective actions.
• Monitor supplier quality and compliance with food safety standards.
• Liaise with regulatory agencies regarding food safety regulations.
• Conduct training sessions for employees on safety and quality standards.

Requirements

Education

• Master’s degree in Food Science or related field is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in food processing or quality assurance

• Food safety regulations

Certifications

• ISO 22000 Certification
• Food Safety Level 4

Languages

• English: Fluent
