We are seeking a proactive Tour Guide Manager to lead our team of guides in Barnsley. The successful candidate will oversee tour operations, ensuring high standards of guest engagement and satisfaction while managing day-to-day activities efficiently.

Job Responsibilities
  • Lead and inspire the team of tour guides.
  • Enhance the overall guest experience through quality service.
  • Design and evaluate tours based on guest feedback.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for tour bookings.
  • Ensure all tours run smoothly and on schedule.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local tourism agencies.
  • Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures.
  • Facilitate ongoing staff training and development activities.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Leadership Skills Skilled in leading teams and managing operations.
  • Customer Service Expert in delivering exceptional customer service experiences.
  • Tour Planning Extensive experience in planning and executing successful tours.
  • Communication Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Strong problem-solving abilities to address guest issues.
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Experience with CRM Software: Familiarity with customer relationship management software to manage guest interactions.
  • Multilingual Skills: Ability to communicate in multiple languages is an advantage.
