Job Description

We are seeking a passionate ESOL Instructor to join our team in Oldham. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective English language lessons to learners of all backgrounds. You will have the opportunity to help students develop their speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality ESOL instruction, focusing on all aspects of language learning.
  • Use assessment tools to evaluate language skills and provide feedback.
  • Encourage participation and engagement in lessons through interactive activities.
  • Facilitate workshops and cultural exchange sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with other instructors to share best practices.
  • Develop lesson plans that cater to various learning styles.
  • Promote the use of technology to support language learning.
  • Advise students on further education and career pathways.
  • Participate actively in staff training and community outreach initiatives.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in TESOL, Linguistics, or related field
  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) qualification
Experience
  • 1+ years of experience in teaching ESOL to adults
