Job Description

We are seeking skilled Log Graders and Scalers to join our expanding team. The ideal candidates will possess a solid understanding of log grading standards and scaling techniques, ensuring quality and compliance with industry regulations.

Responsibilities

• Grade and scale logs accurately according to industry standards.
• Document and report any discrepancies in log quality.
• Coordinate with other teams to ensure timely log processing.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area.
• Assist in the training of new employees in log grading practices.
• Ensure all safety measures are strictly followed on site.

Requirements

Education

• City & Guilds qualification in relevant area
• Advanced qualifications are a plus

Experience

• Proven experience in grading logs or timber products

• Timber Assessment

Certifications

• Forklift Operator Certification
• Manual Handling Training

Languages

• English: Fluent
