We are looking for a skilled Stone Layer to join our team at Stoneworks Construction Ltd. Your primary responsibility will be to cut, shape, and lay stones to construct or repair walls, floors, and other structures with precision and care. Ideal candidates should have experience working with various stone types and a solid understanding of masonry techniques.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the project architect to ensure design integrity.
• Select appropriate stone materials based on project needs.
• Utilise heavy machinery for stone cutting when required.
• Provide input on project planning and timelines based on technical knowledge.
• Engage with suppliers to source quality stones and materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in masonry techniques.

Requirements

Education

• Certification in masonry (advantageous)

Experience

• Experience working with different types of stones (e.g., granite, marble)

• Stone Restoration Techniques
