As a Cooling and Freezing Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for managing and organizing iceboxes within a controlled environment. This role is essential for ensuring product quality and maintaining safety standards in our storage facilities.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of icebox equipment and report findings.
• Ensure proper packing and sealing of products for freezing.
• Collaborate with the Icebox Manager to establish best practices.
• Work effectively under pressure to meet operational deadlines.
• Maintain accurate records of temperature logs and maintenance checks.
• Assist in inventory audits as required.
• Foster a culture of safety and teamwork within the department.

Advantageous

• Experience in temperature-controlled storage facilities: Familiarity with the operation and management of cold storage environments.
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations: Knowledge of regulations pertaining to food safety and handling.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other relevant machinery: Experience with materials handling equipment is a plus.
