Job Description
Join us as a Cargo Handling Supervisor where you will be responsible for managing ramp personnel, supervising aircraft loading and unloading, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations for efficient operations.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead ramp personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient aircraft turnaround.
Coordinate and allocate resources to meet flight schedules, including aircraft loading, unloading, and baggage handling.
Monitor and maintain equipment and ground support vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
Address and resolve operational issues and emergencies promptly.
Provide guidance and training to ramp personnel on procedures and safety measures.
Communicate and coordinate with other airport departments, airlines, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to aircraft turnaround activities.
Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
Implement and enforce security measures to protect personnel, aircraft, and airport facilities.
Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.
Requirements
Education
High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education in aviation or related field is advantageous.
Experience
Prior experience in airport ground handling or ramp operations required.
