Job Description

Join us as a Cargo Handling Supervisor where you will be responsible for managing ramp personnel, supervising aircraft loading and unloading, and ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations for efficient operations.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead ramp personnel, ensuring adherence to safety protocols and efficient aircraft turnaround.
  • Coordinate and allocate resources to meet flight schedules, including aircraft loading, unloading, and baggage handling.
  • Monitor and maintain equipment and ground support vehicles to ensure proper functioning.
  • Address and resolve operational issues and emergencies promptly.
  • Provide guidance and training to ramp personnel on procedures and safety measures.
  • Communicate and coordinate with other airport departments, airlines, and service providers to ensure smooth operations.
  • Prepare reports and maintain documentation related to aircraft turnaround activities.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, such as Occupational Health and Safety regulations.
  • Implement and enforce security measures to protect personnel, aircraft, and airport facilities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Higher education in aviation or related field is advantageous.
Experience
  • Prior experience in airport ground handling or ramp operations required.
