Job Description

As a Photonics Technician, you will play a crucial role in assisting with the development, testing, and maintenance of innovative photonics equipment and systems. Your expertise will help drive advancements across various sectors, ensuring that cutting-edge optical components function optimally.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and implementation of optical systems for various applications.
  • Assist in the research and development of new photonics technologies.
  • Provide technical assistance to team members during projects.
  • Carry out routine maintenance on photonics laboratory equipment.
  • Prepare materials and samples for testing and analysis.
  • Conduct evaluations of current processes and suggest improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards in the lab.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss project progress and issues.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a relevant field
Experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience is preferred.
