Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and qualified Art Therapist to join our dynamic therapeutic team. In this role, you'll use various art techniques to facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, addressing the emotional and psychological needs of our clients. You'll work collaboratively with other mental health professionals to create tailored treatment plans that promote healing and self-expression.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate art therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for creative expression.
  • Develop therapy plans in collaboration with other health professionals.
  • Guide clients in reflection and discussion of their artwork.
  • Monitor client progress and adapt therapy approaches as needed.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development and training.
  • Participate in team meetings to discuss client care and outcomes.
  • Document therapy sessions and maintain accurate client files.
  • Contribute to community outreach projects to promote mental health awareness.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Art Therapy or related field
  • Master's degree in a related field is advantageous
Experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in a therapeutic role, preferably as an Art Therapist
