Airplane Coverer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Airplane Coverer to join our dedicated Aircraft Maintenance team. This role involves fitting, repairing, and maintaining covers on airplanes to protect them from adverse weather conditions and potential damage.

Responsibilities

• Install and remove protective coverings on aircraft to prevent damage during maintenance, storage, or transportation.
• Ensure coverings are properly secured and adhere to aviation regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect coverings for any signs of wear, tear, or damage and replace when necessary.
• Clean and maintain coverings to ensure their longevity and effectiveness.
• Coordinate with the Aircraft Maintenance team to plan and prioritize covering based on operational requirements.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all coverings used and their lifespan.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Collaborate with other departments (Operations and Logistics) for timely cover operations.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in aviation maintenance preferred.

Experience

• Experience with specialized covers for specific airplane models is advantageous.

Technical Skills

• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Physical stamina and fitness

Languages

• English: Fluent
