We are seeking an adept CNC Machine Operator to join our team in Cardiff. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of CNC machining processes and be skilled in operating various CNC machines for precision component manufacturing.
Responsibilities
Operate CNC lathes and mills effectively to produce precision components.
Monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments.
Perform quality control inspections throughout the production process.
Document machining processes for quality assurance purposes.
Ensure machinery is properly calibrated and maintained.
Work closely with quality assurance teams to meet specifications.
Assist in the development of new machining processes.
Compile and report production data to management.
Participate in team meetings to discuss production goals.
Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
Requirements
Education
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in engineering
HNC or HND in Manufacturing Engineering is a plus
Experience
3-5 years of CNC operation experience preferred
