Job Description

As a Slitter, you'll play a vital role in our production process, ensuring materials are cut precisely to specifications. Experience with slitting machinery and a proactive approach to maintenance will set you apart.

Responsibilities

• Utilise slitting machines effectively, assessing material type and cutting needs.
• Troubleshoot minor machinery issues and resolve them promptly.
• Ensure all cut materials are within tolerances and specifications.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to supervisors.
• Participate in regular safety and compliance training sessions.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety standards.

Requirements

Education

• No specific formal education required.
• Relevant certifications or vocational training in machine operations or manufacturing would be advantageous.

Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience in operating slitting machines or similar roles in the manufacturing industry.
