Responsibilities
Utilise slitting machines effectively, assessing material type and cutting needs.
Troubleshoot minor machinery issues and resolve them promptly.
Ensure all cut materials are within tolerances and specifications.
Report any equipment malfunctions or necessary repairs to supervisors.
Participate in regular safety and compliance training sessions.
Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety standards.
Requirements
Education
No specific formal education required.
Relevant certifications or vocational training in machine operations or manufacturing would be advantageous.
Experience
A minimum of 2 years' experience in operating slitting machines or similar roles in the manufacturing industry.
