Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Resawyer to join our team. The Resawyer will be responsible for operating and maintaining the resaw machine to cut lumber according to specifications. A detail-oriented individual with a strong work ethic will thrive in this role.

Responsibilities

• Set up the resaw machine according to production requirements.
• Conduct routine inspections of the resaw equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Work closely with quality control to ensure lumber meets production specifications.
• Assist in the inventory management of lumber and materials.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Technical certification or apprenticeship in woodworking or related field preferred.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating resaw machines in a woodworking or manufacturing environment.

Technical Skills

• Experience with quality control processes.

Soft Skills

• Time management
• Physical stamina

Certifications

• Forklift License

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with other woodworking machinery and tools.: Knowledge and experience with a variety of woodworking equipment is preferred.
• Additional certifications related to woodworking or machine operation.: Certifications in woodworking or machinery operation are advantageous.
