Job Description

As a Pediatric Physical Therapist, you will play a vital role in the assessment and treatment of children with physical impairments. Your expertise will help design personalized rehabilitation programs aimed at improving mobility and overall physical function.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate children's physical limitations and create tailored rehabilitation strategies.
  • Work closely with healthcare colleagues to ensure a holistic approach to treatment.
  • Adjust treatment techniques based on individual progress and goals.
  • Offer emotional support and encouragement to children and their families.
  • Utilise various therapeutic techniques, including play therapy, to engage children.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the clinical setting.
  • Document all sessions accurately for quality assurance and billing purposes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physical Therapy
  • Licensure with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
Experience
  • Prior experience working with children with physical impairments or disabilities preferred
Technical Skills
