Jacquard Fixer

Job Description

As a Jacquard Fixer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and repairing Jacquard looms used in textile production. This position requires technical expertise to ensure optimal functionality, allowing our team to consistently deliver quality fabric to our clients.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and troubleshoot faults in Jacquard loom systems.
• Execute repairs and scheduled maintenance on textile machinery.
• Document all maintenance activities and repair works.
• Work with production to ensure machinery meets output requirements.
• Identify training opportunities for junior technicians.
• Stay updated on textile production processes and technology advancements.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Higher education in Mechanical Engineering or Textile Technology is a plus

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years' experience with textile machinery repair.

Technical Skills

• Ability to read technical drawings

Soft Skills

• Team collaboration

Certifications

• First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Additional certifications in textile technology: Any further qualifications relating to textile machinery will be an advantage.
