Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and creative Extruding and Forming Machine Setter, Operator, or Tender to join our production team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of machine operations and a passion for quality manufacturing. In this role, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines to produce synthetic and glass fibers.

Responsibilities

• Set up and calibrate machines for fiber extrusion and forming.
• Monitor machine processes to ensure smooth operation.
• Identify and report any issues or breakdowns to the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of produced fibers for defects or inconsistencies.
• Assist in implementing process improvements to enhance productivity.
• Manage inventory of raw materials used in production.
• Participate in safety training and adhere to workplace safety guidelines.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Engineering or manufacturing-related qualification preferred

Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant manufacturing role

Advantageous
