Job Description

As an Ophthalmic Laboratory Technician, you will be responsible for grinding, smoothing, and shaping lenses to meet specific visual requirements. This role is critical in the production of high-quality eyewear, ensuring lenses fit perfectly into frames and provide optimal vision correction.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and finish lenses using advanced lab equipment.
  • Monitor and adjust machinery settings for optimal output.
  • Communicate effectively with the team to ensure timely production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to comply with safety regulations.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of a relevant optical technician course
Experience
  • 1-2 years of experience in lens grinding or optical industry preferred
