Stacking Machine Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Stacking Machine Operator to manage the operation and maintenance of automated stacking machines. The successful candidate will ensure that finished goods are stacked efficiently according to production schedules while ensuring quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Monitor the output of the stacking machines to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on machines to prolong lifespan and ensure safety.
• Communicate with supervisors on production progress and any equipment malfunctions.
• Assist in training new operators on machine operation and safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate logs of machine operations and any downtime incidents.
• Adhere to all relevant health and safety regulations within the manufacturing environment.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Prior experience in a similar position is advantageous

Technical Skills

• Computer skills
• Electrical systems knowledge

• Problem-solving skills

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in a lean manufacturing environment: Knowledge of lean practices would be beneficial.
• Forklift operating license: Having a valid forklift licence is a plus.
