Job Description

We are seeking a professional Funeral Home Manager to lead and oversee funeral operations within our organization. The ideal candidate will possess strong management skills and a compassionate approach to support grieving families during their difficult times.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily operational activities of the funeral home.
  • Consult with families to plan and conduct funeral services.
  • Manage the funeral home’s budget and financial reporting.
  • Oversee health and safety regulations within the premises.
  • Foster a supportive environment for staff and families alike.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and practices.
  • Maintain relationships with community partners and suppliers.
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development.
  • Promote and uphold the mission and values of the organisation.
  • Develop strategies to improve service offerings.

Requirements

Education
  • Professional certification in funeral services or management is preferred
Experience
  • Additional experience in grief counseling or bereavement support is advantageous
Technical Skills
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the funeral industry

Languages
  • English: Fluent
