Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Family Therapist to join our compassionate team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have experience working with families and will provide therapeutic interventions to support emotional well-being and strengthen family dynamics.

Responsibilities

• Lead therapeutic sessions aimed at fostering healthy communication within families.
• Design and conduct workshops for families on coping strategies and skills.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of therapy sessions and adjust as needed.
• Engage in outreach activities to promote mental health awareness in the community.
• Support families in navigating external resources and support systems.
• Document client interactions and treatment progress in compliance with regulations.

Requirements

Education

• Doctorate in Psychology or related field

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in family therapy or clinical psychology

Technical Skills

• Family Dynamics Analysis
• Behavioural Therapy Techniques

Soft Skills

• Patience
• Conflict Resolution

Certifications

• Certified Family Therapist (CFT)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience in community outreach and engagement: Ability to connect families with community resources.
• Bilingual abilities in Spanish: Ability to conduct sessions in both English and Spanish.
