Job Description

As a Manual Arts Therapist, you will utilise art and creativity to provide therapeutic care to patients. You will develop individual treatment plans, encourage self-expression through various art forms, and contribute to the mental well-being of those in your care.

Responsibilities

  • Design art therapy sessions that meet the needs of individual patients.
  • Conduct patient assessments to determine suitable art therapy approaches.
  • Modify treatment plans based on patient feedback and progress.
  • Document all therapy sessions and patient interactions accurately.
  • Work with interdisciplinary teams to enhance holistic treatment.
  • Incorporate diverse materials and techniques in therapeutic practices.
  • Promote a healing atmosphere through artistic exploration.
  • Utilise feedback from patients to continually refine therapy processes.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Art Therapy Certification from an accredited institution
Experience
  • At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience
