Job Description

As a Veterinary Assistant at Veterinary Care Ltd., you'll play a crucial role in delivering quality care to animals. Your responsibilities will include assisting veterinarians during examinations, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and providing excellent client care.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare examination rooms and assist during patient check-ups.
  • Conduct basic health checks and document findings.
  • Maintain inventory of medical supplies and medications.
  • Provide emotional support to pet owners and pet patients.
  • Assist in surgeries and anaesthetic monitoring.
  • Participate in client outreach and educational programs.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Provide necessary care and feeding for animals under supervision.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Certificate in Animal Care or Veterinary Nursing preferred
Experience
  • 1-3 years of experience working with animals in a clinical or shelter setting
