Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Boom Man to join our team, where you will be responsible for the operation and control of boom machinery. Your expertise will ensure that operations run smoothly, efficiently, and safely.

Responsibilities

• Manage boom operations and ensure effective communication on site.
• Train new team members on the operation of boom equipment and safety protocols.
• Conduct detailed inspections of boom machinery before and after use.
• Document operational data and prepare reports for management.
• Ensure adherence to all safety and quality standards.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as necessary.
• Assist in the planning and execution of lift operations.
• Participate in toolbox talks and safety meetings.
• Maintain professional standards and relationships with clients and stakeholders.
• Support the team in achieving project timelines and milestones.

Requirements

Education

• Valid Boom Operator certification
• Higher education in construction or related field is preferred

Experience

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Technical Skills

• Experience operating different types of boom machinery
• Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices

Soft Skills

• Leadership skills
• Resilience

Certifications

• CPR and First Aid Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
