Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Probate Judge to join our team. In this role, you will evaluate probate cases, conduct hearings, and provide fair judgments. Strong knowledge of probate law and exceptional communication skills are vital.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and adjudicate probate cases with attention to detail.
• Conduct judicial hearings, ensuring a fair process for all parties involved.
• Apply legal principles to resolve disputes and issues stemming from probate matters.
• Authenticate and validate wills and other related documents.
• Ensure effective communication among all stakeholders in probate cases.
• Guide court clerks in maintaining appropriate protocols.
• Adhere to and implement changes in probate legislation.
• Lead mediation sessions to foster amicable resolutions.
• Prepare comprehensive written opinions and judgments.
• Provide procedural assistance for individuals navigating probate.

Requirements

Education

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister in the UK

Experience

• At least 7 years of experience in probate law with judicial experience preferred.
