Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Clothier to join our team. As a Clothier, you will be responsible for designing, creating, and altering clothing items according to client specifications. Attention to detail, creativity, and a strong understanding of fabric and garment construction are essential for success in this role.

Responsibilities

• Engage with clients to capture their vision for bespoke garments.
• Draft patterns and prototypes for client approval before full production.
• Evaluate fabric qualities to select the best materials for each design.
• Oversee quality control during the construction process.
• Establish and maintain a positive client relationship to ensure repeat business.
• Stay ahead of fashion trends to incorporate into designs.
• Implement sustainable practices in the selection of materials.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss upcoming projects and ideas.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Utilize sewing tools efficiently and safely.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Fashion Design or related field preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in bespoke garment design and construction

Technical Skills

• CAD Software Proficiency
• Industrial Sewing Machine Operation

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Teamwork

Languages

• English: Fluent
