Job Description

We are seeking skilled Machine Feeders and Offbearers to effectively place and position warp threads during the weaving process. This role requires attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to collaborate in a fast-paced textile manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Execute warp placement efficiently while maintaining high quality.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure compliance.
• Identify and report any quality control issues to supervisors.
• Assist with setting up and test-running new machinery and processes.
• Ensure all materials used are of high quality and suitable for production.
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth workflow.
• Contribute to the development and implementation of best practices.
• Keep abreast of industry trends to maintain competitiveness.
• Engage in team-building activities to enhance collaboration.
• Encourage a positive and productive workplace culture.

Requirements

Education

• GCSEs in relevant subjects (e.g., Textiles, Design and Technology) preferred.
• Experience with computer-aided weaving software is advantageous.

Experience

• Minimum 2 years in a textile manufacturing role.
