Job Description

We are on the lookout for a skilled Supply Chain Manager to oversee our supply chain operations in Luton. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in supply chain logistics, procurement, and inventory management, ensuring operational efficiency while driving cost savings.

Responsibilities

• Design and drive initiatives to enhance the supply chain performance metrics.
• Manage and optimize transportation processes within budget constraints.
• Support product development teams to ensure timely supply of materials.
• Work with the finance team to develop budgets for supply chain operations.
• Lead cross-functional teams in supply chain improvement projects.
• Ensure effective communication across all supply chain functions.
• Stay updated on supply chain technologies and tools to enhance operations.
• Assess supplier performance and implement improvements as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
• Postgraduate qualifications in Supply Chain Management are preferred

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain roles

Technical Skills

• SAP or Oracle SCM

Soft Skills

• Analytical Skills

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS)

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of sustainability practices: Experience in incorporating sustainability into supply chain operations.
• Familiarity with international supply chains: Experience working with suppliers and logistics partners globally.
