Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our team in Birmingham. The ideal candidate will possess experience in individual and group therapy, with a strong commitment to improving the mental health of our clients. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing ongoing therapy to help individuals navigate their mental health challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Provide integrative therapy approaches tailored to client needs.
  • Conduct intake assessments and establish rapport with clients.
  • Facilitate support groups for individuals facing similar challenges.
  • Monitor and evaluate clients’ mental health progress.
  • Create resources and workshops to educate clients and communities.
  • Work alongside external organizations for collaborative care.
  • Document treatment outcomes and continuously improve practice.
  • Address administrative tasks related to client management.
  • Promote a supportive and inclusive therapy environment.
  • Participate in case discussions and team meetings.

Requirements

Education
  • Postgraduate qualification in Counselling or Psychotherapy is preferred
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience providing therapy
