Job Description

We are seeking a skilled NDT Inspector (Non-Destructive Testing Inspector) to join our team. The NDT Inspector will be responsible for conducting various non-destructive tests on materials, components, and structures to ensure their integrity and compliance with standards. You will interpret test results, recommend solutions, and work closely with engineers to implement best practices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct NDT processes on various materials, ensuring each procedure complies with current standards and best practices.
• Document findings precisely and maintain records of inspections and tests.
• Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
• Train and mentor junior staff in NDT techniques and equipment.
• Evaluate new techniques and suggest potential improvements to current methods.
• Support quality assurance processes across the organisation by providing expert advice on NDT issues.
• Ensure that all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions immediately.

Requirements

Education

• HND or equivalent in Engineering or a related field
• Degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.

Experience

• Experience in interpreting test results and preparing detailed reports.

Technical Skills

• Eddy Current Testing
• Data analysis software

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Experience in a related industry (e.g., aerospace, oil and gas): Experience in high-stakes environments where precision is crucial.
