Job Description

We are seeking a Certified Veterinary Assistant to join our dedicated team. You will provide support to veterinarians and ensure the well-being of our animal patients. The ideal candidate should have excellent communication skills, a passion for animal care, and a commitment to delivering compassionate veterinary services.

Responsibilities

• Support the veterinary team in all aspects of animal care.
• Prepare animals for surgery and assist during procedures.
• Ensure the clinic environment is hygienic and welcoming.
• Communicate effectively with pet owners regarding their animal's care.
• Document patient records accurately and keep track of supplies.
• Assist in training new staff and interns in animal handling and care.
• Participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance veterinary knowledge.

Requirements

Education

• Veterinary Technician degree is a plus.

Experience

• Experience handling exotic or wildlife species is an advantage.
