Job Description

As a Coal Hiker, you will be responsible for efficiently transporting coal from mining sites to various destinations. Your role will involve operating heavy machinery, adhering to safety protocols, and performing routine maintenance on equipment.

Responsibilities

• Execute the transportation of coal using heavy-duty vehicles.
• Conduct inspections of equipment to prevent downtime.
• Uphold strict adherence to safety and operational guidelines.
• Engage with supervisors to align on production schedules.
• Log transportation data and maintain records accurately.
• Facilitate proper loading/unloading procedures to maintain coal quality.
• Alert management to any technical issues with machinery.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to facilitate repairs.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant environmental regulations.
• Engage in ongoing training to enhance operational skills and safety awareness.

Requirements

Education

• Completion of relevant vocational training

Experience

• Experience in the transportation of bulk materials is advantageous.
