Job Description

As a Mineral Surveyor, you will be responsible for locating and assessing mineral reserves in designated areas. Utilizing geological surveys and technical data, you will determine the quality, quantity, and best extraction methods for minerals while working closely with engineers and consultants.

Responsibilities

  • Utilise geospatial analysis software to enhance survey accuracy.
  • Develop strategies for sustainable extraction methods.
  • Assist in planning and executing field surveys.
  • Provide consultancy services based on survey findings.
  • Conduct risk assessments for potential mining projects.
  • Collaborate with environmental specialists to address concerns related to mining.
  • Maintain detailed records of survey data and methodologies.

Requirements

Education
  • Master's degree in Geology, Mining Engineering or relevant field is advantageous
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in mineral surveying and geological analysis
