Crane and Tower Operator

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Crane and Tower Operator to join our construction team. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining cranes on construction sites, ensuring safety and efficiency in lifting heavy materials.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine checks on cranes and other lifting equipment.
• Train and guide junior operators in crane operation.
• Collaborate with site managers to develop lift plans.
• Inspect site conditions to ensure safe lifting practices.
• Assist in the unloading and loading of materials.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Continuously enhance skills and knowledge regarding crane operations and safety.

Requirements

Education

• Valid crane operator certification
• Valid driving license

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of experience operating an erecting crane

• Crane Operation

Soft Skills

Certifications

• CPCS Card (Construction Plant Competence Scheme)
• Slinger/Signaller Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience with various crane types: Familiarity with mobile cranes, tower cranes, and other lifting equipment.
• First Aid Certification: Valid certification in first aid and basic health and safety.
