Job Description

As a Psychiatric Technician, you will be instrumental in supporting the psychology team by assisting with research experiments, administering tests and surveys, and collecting and analysing data. This role requires a strong commitment to patient care and an understanding of mental health principles.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct client assessments and screening procedures.
  • Prepare therapy materials and assist in therapy sessions.
  • Monitor and document client progress effectively.
  • Ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for clients.
  • Provide support in the implementation of therapy programmes.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to provide integrated care.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for service delivery.
  • Engage in professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Psychology or related field
  • Master's degree in Psychology is advantageous
Experience
  • Relevant experience in psychological assessment and client support.
