Job Description

We are seeking a qualified Agronomist to join our passionate team in Margate. The successful candidate will be instrumental in enhancing crop management practices and implementing innovative agricultural technologies. You will collaborate with farmers and other stakeholders to promote sustainable and efficient farming techniques.

Responsibilities

• Research and implement sustainable farming practices.
• Consult with farmers on crop rotation and management.
• Implement testing protocols for soil health assessments.
• Monitor crop growth and make recommendations based on findings.
• Develop partnerships with agricultural organisations.
• Train staff and farmers on sustainable techniques and technologies.
• Participate in agricultural trials and assessments.
• Advise on water management and irrigation techniques.
• Prepare detailed reports and presentations for stakeholders.
• Assist in the development of new agricultural products.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural Science or related discipline
• Master's degree in Agronomy is an advantage

Experience

• 3+ years in agronomy or agricultural management roles.
