Warehouse Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Warehouse Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure high levels of efficiency in our Watford facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in logistics management, with a keen eye for improving processes and leading teams effectively.

Responsibilities

• Direct and control warehouse activities to meet production demands.
• Review and optimize inventory management processes.
• Motivate team members to achieve performance targets.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions and efficiency improvements.
• Prepare and manage annual budgets for warehouse operations.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and warehouse organization.
• Participate in strategic planning initiatives to enhance logistics functions.
• Collaborate with IT to enhance warehouse management system capabilities.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
• Master's degree in Logistics or Supply Chain Management is preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations and management

Technical Skills

• Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
• Health and Safety Regulations

Soft Skills

• Time Management
• Strategic Planning

Certifications

• Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP)
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Previous experience in a fast-paced environment: Experience working in a high-volume warehouse or distribution centre.
