We are seeking a detail-oriented Fleet Maintenance Coordinator to manage our fleet of vehicles in Stevenage. The successful candidate will oversee maintenance schedules, coordinate repairs, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will play a key role in optimising fleet performance and reducing costs.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules for the fleet.
  • Liaise with insurance providers and regulatory authorities as needed.
  • Negotiate contracts with repair shops and service providers.
  • Track fuel consumption and maintenance costs for reporting purposes.
  • Prepare fleet reports for management review.
  • Provide training and support to staff regarding vehicle operation and safety.
Job Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Transport Management or a related field
  • HND in Mechanical Engineering is advantageous
  • Fleet Management Software Proficient in using fleet management systems for scheduling and reporting.
  • Vehicle Diagnostics Experienced in vehicle diagnostics and repair coordination.
  • Regulatory Compliance In-depth knowledge of transportation regulations and compliance standards.
  • Communication Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Problem-solving Adept at identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.
  • Time Management Excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Certificate in Fleet Management
  • IOSH Managing Safely
  • English (Fluent)
Advantageous
  • Certifications in Electric Vehicle Management: Understanding of the maintenance and management of electric vehicles.
  • Experience in managing a diverse fleet: Skills in managing various types of vehicles, including heavy and light commercial vehicles.
