We are looking for an experienced Information Security Consultant to join our dynamic team in Leeds. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, risk assessment, and incident response to empower organisations in safeguarding their information assets.

Responsibilities

• Lead security audits to assess the effectiveness of existing security protocols.
• Advise on secure software development practices and code reviews.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align security strategy with business objectives.
• Manage relationships with regulatory bodies and ensure adherence to compliance requirements.
• Provide expert advice on risk management and incident response frameworks.
• Document security incidents and prepare remediation plans as necessary.

Requirements

Education

• Master's degree in Cybersecurity or Information Security is preferred

Experience

• 5-7 years of experience in cybersecurity consulting

Technical Skills

• Network Security
• Security Information and Event Management (SIEM)

Soft Skills

• Project Management
• Team Leadership

Certifications

• Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• CompTIA Security+

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Familiarity with programming languages (Python, Java): Basic understanding of programming languages for security scripting.
• Experience in penetration testing: Hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities through penetration testing techniques.
