We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Southend-on-Sea. You will be tasked with optimising processes and leading a dedicated team to ensure the smooth running of our logistics.
Responsibilities
Directly supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations and quality standards.
Oversee the inventory management process, including stock levels and replenishment.
Implement KPI targets for warehouse team performance and monitor results.
Develop and uphold best practices for handling and storage of goods.
Liaise with external partners and suppliers to enhance service delivery.
Prepare reports on warehouse performance and suggest improvements.
Assist in training and onboarding new staff members.
Manage operational budgets and resource allocation effectively.
Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
Master's degree preferred
Experience
5+ years of experience in warehouse management or operations.
