Job Description

We are seeking a proactive Warehouse Manager to oversee our warehouse operations in Southend-on-Sea. You will be tasked with optimising processes and leading a dedicated team to ensure the smooth running of our logistics.

Responsibilities

  • Directly supervise warehouse staff, providing guidance and support.
  • Ensure compliance with local and national safety regulations and quality standards.
  • Oversee the inventory management process, including stock levels and replenishment.
  • Implement KPI targets for warehouse team performance and monitor results.
  • Develop and uphold best practices for handling and storage of goods.
  • Liaise with external partners and suppliers to enhance service delivery.
  • Prepare reports on warehouse performance and suggest improvements.
  • Assist in training and onboarding new staff members.
  • Manage operational budgets and resource allocation effectively.
  • Promote teamwork and effective communication among staff.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field
  • Master's degree preferred
Experience
  • 5+ years of experience in warehouse management or operations.
