Production Truck Driver

Job Description

We are in search of a skilled Production Truck Driver to ensure the safe and timely transportation of production equipment and materials. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting film, television, and live events.

Responsibilities

• Load and secure production materials in the truck ensuring compliance with safety standards.
• Deliver equipment to filming locations promptly and safely.
• Assist in setting up and dismantling equipment at sites as required.
• Document all deliveries and report any discrepancies immediately.
• Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, tidy, and well-maintained.

Requirements

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a professional truck driver, preferably in the entertainment or events industry.

Technical Skills

• Valid UK driving license
• GPS navigation
• Vehicle maintenance

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving
• Teamwork

Certifications

• Driver Certificate of Professional Competence (CPC)
• ADR certification preferred

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Experience working in production logistics: Experience working with production teams on location shoots or live events.
• Familiarity with audiovisual equipment: Understanding of audiovisual equipment and lighting setups.
