Civil Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking a Civil Engineer to join our growing team in Glasgow. This role will involve designing, implementing, and overseeing various civil engineering projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure projects are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Develop innovative design solutions for civil engineering projects.
• Supervise and mentor junior engineers and technicians.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
• Manage contract negotiations and supplier relationships.
• Review and approve project designs and budgets.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
• Additional qualifications in structural engineering are preferred

Experience

• 5+ years of experience in civil engineering

Languages

• English: Fluent

Advantageous

• Knowledge of geotechnical engineering principles: Skilled in geotechnical assessments for construction.
