Supply Chain Manager

Job Description

We are seeking a Supply Chain Manager to oversee and improve our supply chain operations in Wolverhampton. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing strategies to optimise the supply chain, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the smooth flow of goods and services.

Responsibilities

• Formulate and implement supply chain strategies for operational excellence.
• Lead supplier audits and performance reviews.
• Ensure effective inventory control and minimize waste.
• Manage logistics operations to facilitate smooth supply processes.
• Data-driven analysis to identify trends and areas for enhancement.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on supply chain performance and metrics.
• Develop contingency plans to mitigate risks in the supply chain.
• Ensure adherence to budgetary requirements in supply chain activities.
• Provide training for new supply chain staff members.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
• Master's degree is preferred

Experience

• 7+ years of experience in supply chain management

Certifications

• APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM)
• Certified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM)

Languages

• English: Fluent
