Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join our Bristol practice. The role involves diagnosing and treating a variety of animal health issues, performing surgeries, and providing excellent client care. Responsibilities

• Perform examinations and provide expert diagnoses for a variety of animals.
• Administer treatments and manage post-operative care.
• Participate in staff training and development sessions.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary regulations and ethical standards.
• Handle emergencies with professionalism and care.
• Educate pet owners on proper pet care and preventive measures.
• Work collaboratively within a team to achieve patient care goals.
• Maintain a compassionate and professional demeanor at all times.

Requirements

Education

• Degree in Veterinary Science
• MRCVS accredited

Experience

• 3+ years of clinical experience preferred

Technical Skills

• Anaesthesia Management
• Preventive Care

Soft Skills

Certifications

• BVA (British Veterinary Association) member
• Certification in emergency care is a plus

Languages

• English: Fluent

• Proficiency in ultrasound technology: Experience using ultrasound for diagnostics.
