Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Public Health Officer to join our team in Manchester. The ideal candidate will drive initiatives aimed at improving community health, managing health promotion campaigns, and collaborating with local organisations to address public health challenges. This role requires strong analytical skills and a passion for enhancing population health outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead community engagement efforts to improve public health outcomes.
  • Manage public health projects from inception to evaluation.
  • Utilise data to drive decision-making and policy development.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with local authorities on health emergencies.
  • Ensure compliance with health regulations and standards.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences, Public Administration, or related field
  • Master's degree in Public Health or a related field is an advantage

  • 5+ years of experience in public health roles
