Job Description

We are in search of a dedicated Construction Safety Inspector to join our dynamic team in Rochdale. The successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing safety standards and regulations on-site, conducting safety audits, and ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

Responsibilities

• Review and update safety documentation and procedures.
• Facilitate accident prevention initiatives and programs.
• Liaise with external safety consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Prepare and present safety performance data to management.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment on site.
• Support the development of emergency response plans.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop safety strategies.

Requirements

Education

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety
• Equivalent qualifications will be considered

Experience

• 5+ years in health and safety management within construction

• Construction Site Management

Certifications

• NEBOSH National General Certificate
• First Aid at Work

Languages

• English: Fluent
