Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Software Tester to join our dynamic team at XYZ Software. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail and extensive experience in identifying and reporting software defects. As a Software Tester, you will collaborate closely with our development teams to ensure the highest quality in our software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute automated test scripts and manage test environments.
  • Communicate testing progress and issues effectively to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand product requirements.
  • Evaluate and suggest improvements to testing processes and tools.
  • Document test cases and create detailed test reports.
  • Involve in the continuous improvement of testing methodologies.
  • Participate in sprint planning and retrospective meetings.
  • Conduct usability testing to ensure user-friendly software design.
  • Monitor software performance through various testing tools.
  • Provide input on risk management and software quality assurance strategies.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or related field
Experience
  • 3+ years of experience in a software testing environment
