Job Description

We are seeking a talented Accountant to join our growing team in Liverpool. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for numbers and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the overall success of our financial operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily financial operations and reporting.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial reports to management.
• Identify and implement process improvements in accounting practices.
• Collaborate with internal departments for effective financial management.
• Maintain relationships with clients and provide excellent service.
• Review and approve financial transactions and entries.
• Ensure accuracy of financial records in compliance with regulations.
• Contribute to strategic financial planning and analysis.
• Perform variance analysis and report findings.
• Train and mentor junior accounting staff.

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Master's degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus

Experience

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience

Certifications

• Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) qualification
