Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Wet-End Operator to join our team. The Wet-End Operator will be responsible for operating and maintaining the wet-end machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring production efficiency and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise the operation of wet-end machinery, ensuring efficient use and minimal disruption.
  • Carry out preventive maintenance and necessary repairs on equipment.
  • Conduct product quality checks and documentation.
  • Adjust machine settings based on production requirements.
  • Provide support in training new staff on machinery operation.
  • Assist in the implementation of new procedures to improve efficiency.
  • Engage in proactive troubleshooting to anticipate potential issues.
  • Participate in safety audits and compliance checks.
  • Track and report on production metrics.
  • Liaise with the Production Supervisor for reporting and improvement discussions.

Requirements

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Technical certification in a related field is preferred
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of experience operating wet-end machinery in a manufacturing environment.
