Job Description

We are on the lookout for an Agronomy Consultant to join our passionate team in Margate. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of agronomy and a commitment to promoting sustainable farming practices.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a liaison between farmers and agricultural organisations.
  • Evaluate and recommend crop protection products and fertilisers.
  • Conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers.
  • Monitor and evaluate crop health and soil quality.
  • Advise on irrigation practices and water management.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to offer comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Oversee project implementation and monitor outcomes.
  • Report on trends in agronomy and share insights with the team.

Requirements

Education
  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
  • Master's degree or further qualifications are advantageous
Experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in agronomy or agricultural consultancy
