Job Description
We are on the lookout for an Agronomy Consultant to join our passionate team in Margate. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of agronomy and a commitment to promoting sustainable farming practices.
Responsibilities
Act as a liaison between farmers and agricultural organisations.
Evaluate and recommend crop protection products and fertilisers.
Conduct training sessions and workshops for farmers.
Monitor and evaluate crop health and soil quality.
Advise on irrigation practices and water management.
Collaborate with sales teams to offer comprehensive solutions to clients.
Oversee project implementation and monitor outcomes.
Report on trends in agronomy and share insights with the team.
Requirements
Education
Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agronomy, or a related field
Master's degree or further qualifications are advantageous
Experience
At least 3 years of experience in agronomy or agricultural consultancy
