We are seeking a skilled Welding Supervisor to oversee welding operations within our company. The ideal candidate will have experience in the industry and be able to lead a team of welders to achieve high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of 10 welders, providing guidance and support.
• Ensure that welding operations meet quality and safety standards.
• Develop training programmes for skills enhancement and safety.
• Manage project timelines and resource allocation.
• Conduct performance reviews and foster team development.
• Oversee inventory of welding materials and order supplies as necessary.
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance welding processes.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure design specifications are met.

Requirements

Education

• Relevant technical degree
• Additional management certifications a plus

Experience

• 5+ years supervisory experience in welding operations.

Technical Skills

• Robotic welding systems
• Lean manufacturing principles

Certifications

• Specialised Welding Technique Certification

Languages

• English: Fluent
